Born in Hattiesburg, MS, after living in Jackson, MS for thirty-seven years I now make my home in Memphis, TN with my husband and three rescue dogs. I facilitate writing groups for girls and women in inner city Memphis. I am a writer, my first love being fiction, and I have completed three manuscripts of fiction and numerous short stories. I am also an artist, a preacher, and a dream group facilitator. Being a mother of four and a grandmother to ten, I am a nurturer by nature, and I am passionate about celebrating the transformational power mined when women write about their lives.
